Job Description

Advocate Trinity Hospitalis implementing a Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) program to better treat our patients. The PCI services will begin in October of 2007. We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Nurse for our facilities. This is a very crucial role for Advocate Trinity Hospital. The Nurse Clinician II will have the opportunity to be an integral part of the success of this program. Our staff nurses assume primary responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for assigned patients. They will plan and sets goals which demonstrate a holistic approach to patients and families. And assume leadership responsibilities at the unit level. The RN will demonstrate a mastery of clinical skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
Familiarity with patient care equipment
Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in Cardiac Care
Current Illinois RN license
Earn 5.0 continuing education credits annually
Good communication skills and Computer skills
Time management and organizational skills
Current CPR

New PCI program
Experienced RN needed
Large Healthcare system
