The primary purpose of this position is to provide professional nursing care for patients seen in the Intensive Care Unit under the supervision of the Patient Care Nurse Manager. This includes triaging calls, giving medical advice and supervising the care provided by LPN''s and unlicensed staff. The ability to function as a member of an interdisciplinary team in the delivery of patient care is required, as is skill in communicating with a variety of patients, and the ability to set priorities.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Required for successful performance in this position is a valid Arizona RN license, current CPR and ACLS certification, 3 – 5 years ICU nursing experience in an ambulatory clinic or inpatient environment, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
