Product Sales Consultant-Northern CA
If you have sold medical products into the Hospital and have RN experience or are in a Sales Support role with RN experience, this may be an opportunity for you to take the next step up in your career. We are seeking a highly professional, customer focused, ICU nurse consultant or hospital medical sales representative to join our Product Sales Consultant (PSC) sales team. Serving as a consultant to hospitals
•Introduce new concepts and protocols within a hospital''s Critical Care and ICU units.
• Ability to control a sales call by following a defined agenda and concluding with clear outcomes.
• Analyze market data and develop strategic plans to grow sales within territory.
• Maintain call frequency to support account conversion and account service needs.
• Resist price pressure by establishing clear differentiation between product and competitive alternative.
•Maintaining sales levels at or above sales and business plan
•Providing customer with assessment of clinical and hospital needs by conducting cost analyses, compiling and presenting data
•Providing appropriate follow-up to accounts as required and requested
•Responsible for understanding and utilizing sales business planning and strategy tools
REQUIREMENTS:
To perform other job related duties as determined and assigned by management
•Bachelor‘s degree (BSN, BA, or BS), preferably in Nursing, business, or a technical area
•Critical care nursing background highly desirable
•3-4 years‘ corporate clinical consulting/specialist experience and/or hospital medical sales experience highly desirable
•Sales Territory management experience highly desirable
•Effective Communication skills (oral & written)
•Candidates must live in the San Francisco or Sacramento areas and able to travel as required to cover the assigned territory
