Job Description
A Medical Review Nurse in the Integrity & Compliance Department will conduct post-payment medical review of services billed to a government health care program. Services will be reviewed for medical necessity, accuracy of coding, and other issues. This is a full time position that requires travel.
• RN and BSN
• Knowledge of CPT/HCPCS Coding, and DRG.
• Must be analytical and detail oriented with experience
in hospital coding procedures, and
• Prior experience in the area of post-payment medical
review for a Medicare/Medicaid Carrier or Fiscal
Intermediary (or for a private insurance company).
• Ability to travel within and outside of the state.
