Our critical care nurses work with high acuity patients in a very fast-paced environment to prescribe, delegate, coordinate and deliver patient care. They ensure that patient care meets our high standards of safety, effectiveness, patient rights and guest relations. They supervise care delivered by the patient care team; coordinate the plan of care; educate patients and staff; and collaborate with other disciplines.

Our critical care nurses work in many different units, including:
• Bone marrow transplant
• Cardiac medicine
• Cardiac / vascular / thoracic surgery
• Emergency department
• General medicine
• General surgery
• Heart / lung transplant
• Liver / kidney / pancreas transplant
• Neurosurgery
• NICU
• Trauma
