Job Description

POSITION
-Reports to the Chief Nursing Officer
-Responsible for directing the 30-bed intermediate care unit with management oversight of approximately 50 FTEs
-Qualified candidates will be nurses who have excellent clinical knowledge, work autonomously, maintain strong leadership skills, and who are effective communicators enjoying process improvement

HOSPITAL
-214-bed, Level III trauma, Joint Commission accredited hospital that is a member of a larger health system
-Services include oncology, cardiology, emergency medicine, Level II NICU, women’s health, rehabilitation, pediatrics, and numerous others
-Facility highlights include a Solucient Top 100 Heart Hospital rating, the region’s only CARF accredited inpatient rehabilitation unit, as well as on-campus MRI service, a newly renovated and expanded emergency department, as well as a commitment to continuous reinvestment in state-of-the-art technology

COMMUNITY
-Located in the South Central portion of Washington State with a population of approximately 72,000 and a metropolitan census of 230,000
-Enjoys 300 days of sunshine a year
