Job Description

Anchored by one of the nation’s largest multi-specialty group practices, a 325-bed teaching hospital with Level II Trauma Center, and more than 45 regional facilities, (login to see company), based in La Crosse, Wis., serves more than 500,000 residents of western Wisconsin, southeastern Minnesota and northeastern Iowa.

Currently seeking a full-time Clinical Manager, ICU, to provide management and oversee the delivery of specialized clinical services throughout our Intensive Care Unit department. The Clinical Manager will have direct responsibility for managing employee performance to ensure optimal functioning in day-to-day operations, and will work collaboratively with the Section Chair to achieve department and unit strategic goals.

Qualified candidates will have: Bachelor’s degree in health related field; 5+ yrs. clinical or equiv. healthcare experience demonstrating leadership skills; RN license; ability to adapt to changing work needs and demonstrate effective customer service to internal/ external customers; ability to manage employee performance, patient care delivery and fiscal performance; demonstrated ability in building collaborative relationships, coaching and mentoring others, and building effective networks; ability to acquire/apply knowledge and utilize systems thinking and innovation to impact operations; computer skills.

Preferred candidates will have: Field of study related to clinical specialty; management experience; 3+ yrs. ICU experience; knowledge related to clinical specialty.
