Job Description
POSITION
•Responsible for providing management and oversight for a 15-bed adult ICU area that handles open heart, neurology, and all other complex patient needs
•Works collaboratively with a Section Chair to achieve department and unit strategic goals while managing highly specialized clinical services
•Qualified candidates will be registered nurses with a bachelor’s degree and solid experience within the ICU setting. Solid leadership skills combined with clinical competence, as well as innovation and dedication are important attributes as well.
ORGANIZATION
•The hospital is a 325-bed, not-for profit, teaching, tertiary referral center with Level II trauma status
•This is a comprehensive healthcare network including one of the nation''s largest multi-specialty group medical practices, regional community clinics, hospitals, nursing homes, home care, behavioral health services, vision centers, pharmacies, and air and ground ambulances
•The medical center maintains an excellent reputation for outstanding patient care and has been a Top 100 facility ten times in the past ten years. The hospital also serves as an additional campus for one of the state’s strongest teaching programs in both medicine and nursing.
