Nurse Manager NICU Opportunity!

The Nurse Manager for NICU Department is responsible for:
Working in collaboration with the VP of Patient Services and the Medical Director
Has 24-hour accountability and is responsible for all activities affecting patient care in a designated area
Responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, supervising, and evaluating the patient care given, personnel and unit management
Maintains high visibility within designated areas of responsibility
Participates in a collaborative management structure that shares responsibilities and functions across traditional department/unit boundaries.
Provides direction and administrative support to multidisciplinary teams who provide care and services to persons and families of our facility.
Responsible and shares in collaborative responsibilities to ensure the accomplishment of area/unit and service line goals and objectives which
support the vision and values of our organization.
Acts as expert resource to multidisciplinary teams and units as well as liaison to both providers, consumers, and other constituencies in the
community.

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
Bachelor Degree preferred. CPR/AED for Healthcare Provider required.
Grad of Approved Reg Nrsg Prog required.
Minimum 5 Yrs Relevant Experience required.
RN License (IDPR) required.
Specialty Certification preferred.
Current or Pending State License in Practicing State
Must Have current Cardiopulmonary (CPR) certification along with BCLS or ACLS
