Job Description

Surgical RNs

The Surgical RN participates in process improvement activities as assigned. Demonstrate awareness of legal issues and patients’ rights. Practice efficient use of supplies and maintain a clean, safe work area. Attend staff development in-services, department meetings and/or nursing committees meetings. Collaborate with management team to identify professional development needs. Serve on hospital, department and/or nursing committees as required. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Interested candidates must have a current license in the state of Florida and maintain current BLS certification. ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas. One year of surgical experience, or step down, critical care or ICU/Telemetry required.
