Responsibilities include the delivery of nursing care through the use of the nursing process. Will work in collaboration with the Unit Director, Resource Nurse and other health care professionals, applies competent clinical knowledge and skills to achieve quality out comes for the peri-anesthesia patients. Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care as well as apply principles of growth and development over the lifespan. Also must possess the ability to assess and interpret patient data needed to identify each patient''s requirements relative to his or her specific needs. Requirements include current PA license and ACLS. BSN, PALS, CPAN, CAPA Certification, prior PACU and (2) years critical care experience is preferred.
