Job Description

Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital, a leading provider of health services in DuPage County, is a 342-bed facility and Level I Trauma Center offering the highest level of trauma care, while excelling in the delivery of cardiac care, oncology, mental health services, outpatient testing and therapies, and women and children services. The hospital’s Level III Nursery provides the highest level of care for newborns, while also offering the “Pampered Pregnancy” to all new mothers and a support group for those parents who have experienced a problem pregnancy, have a baby with special needs or have lost a baby. Good Samaritan Hospital is located in Downers Grove, IL.

We are currently seeking a Full-Time (PM/Night) Staff Nurse for our ER department. The Staff Nurse is responsible to assume primary responsibility to plan, execute and evaluate assigned patients nursing care in a team environment.

Qualifications:
* Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
* Previous hospital nursing experience is desirable.
* Current licensure in the State of Illinois as a Registered Nurse.
* CPR
* Good communication skills.
* Familiarity with computers.
* Good time management and organizational skills.
* Familiarity with equipment used on a patient care unit.
